Reminiscence Evaluation Toolkit

19 August 13 -- jsuess

Since April 2012 Oxford ASPIRE has worked with Banbury Museum as a Delivery Partner on Extending the Reach, a three year project to expand their existing reminiscence programme across Cherwell District and South Northamptonshire. The project also looks are developing resources to allow local reminiscence groups to become self-sustaining in the future.

As part of their work Banbury has produced a Reminiscence Evaluation Toolkit, sharing lessons they have learned from evaluating their work. The toolkit is now available on the Resources page of the ASPIRE website.

The toolkit includes a variety of sample questionnaires for Reminiscence group participants, volunteers and facilitators, as well as care home workers and the families of participants to help gain a deep understanding of the impact reminiscence can have on the lives of participants.

Download the toolkit today, and all feedback is welcome and appreciated. Leave thoughts in the comments section of this blog or email aspire@museums.ox.ac.uk.
