The Museum is seeking a Digital Partnerships Manager to lead on a range of digital projects, especially those funded under the GLAM (Gardens, Libraries and Museums) Digital Strategy Implementation Programme. The role will involve working closely with colleagues in the Pitt Rivers Museum on the planning, scoping and delivery of a variety of digital projects, as well as liaising closely with IT and museum colleagues across the University on joint initiatives.

Part-time Deputy Head of Collections - Pitt Rivers Museum - Grade 7, £31,604, £38,833 - closes 4 January 2018

The Museum is seeking a Deputy Head of Collections to curate, document, research and provide access to the Museum's artefact collections. The postholder will play a pivotal role in contributing to the forward plans of the Collections Section and in collections based project proposals. They will be expected to demonstrate a good curatorial knowledge of the Museum's collections and develop several areas of specialisation. In the absence of the Joint Heads of Collections they will be responsible for the smooth running of the section inclusive of staff. The postholder will take sole responsibility for delivering core pieces of work and will manage certain projects, sometimes concurrently. They will be expected to collaborate with other museums, institutions and specialist networks on exhibitions, research projects and publications.
