In March 2013, 100 delegates from across the UK and parts of Europe converged on the Oxford University Museums for the 25th Anniversary University Museums Group Conference; up for discussion, "What are University Museums for?" Miss the conference? Watch videos of all the key talks!
Box of Delights
ASPIRE is working with digital innovator and artist Alex Butterworth to create "box of Delights" (working title): a mobile digital platform that will imaginatively engage Oxford audiences with the city's museum collections and the city's cultural landscape through a non-linear narrative and augmented reality.
History in the Making
The Oxfordshire County Council Museums "History in the Making Project" is scoped to re-engage communities with the collections from their local area.
Head over Heels
From June 2011-March 2012 the Oxfordshire County Museums Service, Oxford University Museums and Museum of Oxford collaborated on the Accessories Project, culminating in summer 2012 in two Head over Heels exhibitions.
