The exam board, Pearson Edexcel, recently approached the Oxford University Museums to create a resource that would explore connections between the museums’ collections and their contextual influences. Aimed at Art and Design teachers, the resource will connect museum objects to contemporary art, similar making processes, related forms and other conceptual ideas.

Last year the Ashmolean Museum's education team was awarded modest funding from the OUMP Innovation Fund for a project to expand, develop and promote the provision for Young People at the museum.

On Wednesday 27th February 2013, 25 delegates from across the country came together for ‘Does it all add up?’ an ASPIRE Eventlooking at how to deal with museum accounts, for non-accountants.

On 16 June 2017 Oxford University Museums partnered up with DLNET (Digital Learning Network) to host a conference dedicated to digital learning in museums - how digital can be used to enhance museum based learning experience, how digital can extend the reach of museum learning programmes beyond their walls, what works, what doesn't, and what's next!
