Ashmolean Project Portal: Engage with Exhibitions

8 October 14 -- jsuess

The Ashmolean has teamed up with The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH) Knowledge Exchange programme to invite University of Oxford researchers and graduates to develop project ideas linking their research to the museum’s forthcoming exhibitions.

We are now inviting applications from University members for projects that will engage creatively with the 2014-2015 exhibition programme on British Artists, which is intended to showcase the Museum’s extensive collections and to reference the wider social contexts contained within the exhibitions’ themes. Two of the exhibitions centre on individual artists: Adam Buck and James Gillray. The third exhibition brings together a group of thematically linked British drawings.

Submissions should take the form of a 250 word description of your proposed project. Please email your application to uep@ashmus.ox.ac.uk. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
