In the autumn of 2016 I was sitting at my desk when a colleague alerted me to the Oxford Cultural Leaders Programme. I visited the website and a quick look around piqued my interest and I decided to apply.  But why? And what could I learn from a leadership course?

In 2016 the Museum of the History of Science piloted a 'Youth Forum' with the aim of engaging a group of young people (aged 18-24) with the behind the scenes work of the museum.

The second event in our Fundraising and Philanthropy series of 2016 took place on Tuesday 8 November in the Ashmolean’s Headley Lecture Theatre. Louisa Pharoah, Director of Development & Research at the ss Great Britain Trust, gave the first keynote of the day. The ss Great Britain carefully balances its roles as a visitor attraction, an archive, and a library as well as running an education programme.
